Meet Ewa Henderson.

I was born in Poland and moved to New York City with my family when I was just two years old. Growing up, I always had a big fascination with computers, and would often get in trouble for spending too much time looking at a screen. I was also a perfectionist at heart—no matter what I touched, I would not be happy until it looked perfect in my eyes.

I graduated from the New York Institute of Technology in 2012 with a bachelor’s in computer science and a minor in chemistry. I also took a few courses in web development, where I quickly learned I was less interested in creating algorithms and coding, and much more passionate about being creative and designing visually pleasing elements.

After graduating from college, I started working for a web design company in the Lehigh Valley called Enter.Net. This was where I really got started in making website designs for a variety of small companies and industries from daycare centers, to landscapers, medical offices, and more. I worked there for about six-and-a-half years before I realized commuting over two hours every day was taking a big toll on both me and my pets. Constantly having to drive in the harsh winters was also extremely difficult for me. This is when I started looking for other career opportunities and came across Forge3!

Here at Forge3, we aren’t just any company, we work and feel like family. Although we don’t get to see each other every day, we have a strong bond as a team, and always have each other’s backs. This is the first time I have worked at a company where I truly feel valued as an employee. We all contribute ideas as a team and work together to find the best solutions to any problems we face. The culture at Forge3 is something remarkable, and I feel blessed every day to be a part of this amazing team!

I currently live in a small town in Pennsylvania with my husband, Chris, my dog, Maya, and my cat, Misha. We have a very nice home nestled in the Poconos, with a big yard and lots of wild visitors—rabbits, deer, foxes, and yes, even bears! Although I do enjoy living in the mountains, I am planning on making a big move to Texas, a state I just recently visited and fell in love with for the food, people, culture, and the weather.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing video games and board games, reading fantasy novels, and gardening. I also enjoy working on DIY projects, including making my own laundry detergent, hand soap, air fresheners, and more.
