Say hello to our Visual Designer.
I was born and raised in Williamsport, PA, where I reside today with my cat and dog. I went to college at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Graphic Design. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in web design/development and mobile app development online through the University of Denver.
I have been in art my entire life since I can remember. I have always loved every craft and art form possible, so I knew my career needed to be in art, which led me to pursue graphic design. Once I received my bachelor’s degree, I began working for an email marketing agency and learned all the ins and outs of HTML and CSS coding, which led me to pursue web design. I strive to continue to better myself and my career, and after working five years in an office, I knew office life was not for me. I came across Forge3 and fell in love with the culture they have built themselves and their work, and here I am today!
Through my journey as a designer, I also continued to grow my hobby as a ceramic artist. Since I was 15 years old, I have created ceramics. I continued to pursue my hobby by building out my studio in the basement of my home. I sell ceramics at Patinaz, a local store in Williamsport, PA, on Etsy, as well as my website, jilliaceramics.com. I love to create utilitarian pottery that you can use daily, such as mugs, plates, bowls, and planters.
When I am not hunched over my computers working and studying, or dirty in my basement from clay, I also love to lift at the gym, ride dirt bikes, travel anywhere new, drink espresso, eat all the Mexican food, meditate, and go off-roading in my Jeep!
