Meet Monika Baraket.

Although I officially joined Forge3 as Chief Production Officer on September 4th, 2018, I have been working with Forge3 since 2010 as a contractor and had the opportunity to see the company grow tremendously over those years. It’s been an incredible ride!

In 2009, after a successful, decade-long career in consultative sales, marketing, and management, I started a small marketing consulting firm. Shortly after that, I met my largest client, Forge3. Over the years, I worked closely with Forge3 as a contractor in a variety of roles and eventually became a crucial member of the team—playing a large role in the development and launch of ActiveAgency.

As ActiveAgency grew, so did my involvement with Forge3. And as the saying goes, the rest is history. In September of 2018, I took the leap to become an official Forge3 team member. As Jeff (Forge3’s Founder and CEO) would tell it, this was his plan all along but I had to be sure that I liked him enough to really commit! After eight years of working alongside him, I figured it was a safe bet.

Fast-forward to today and I am thrilled to be leading an amazing team of Visual Designers, Project Managers, Content Managers, and Client Experience Managers here at Forge3. We like each other, we support each other, and most importantly, we have fun doing what we do. Forge3 is home for me. We have unlimited potential. We have the right people, the right product, and the right attitude. I’m truly grateful to be part of something this great.

I was born in Warsaw, Poland, and immigrated to the United States when I was ten years old. My family initially landed in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania when I was 16.

I’ve been married to my hubby, Ken, since 2002, and we have two awesome boys together. They keep me busy with all of their sports activities. If you’re ever wondering where I am when I am not working, it’s likely in a gym watching basketball or on the field watching football. It’s a crazy schedule but I enjoy every minute of it. I am very competitive and really get into the games, so staying quiet is quite a challenge for me!

I enjoy Polish food, but I prefer Italian and Mexican. I can cook much better Italian and Mexican food too! However, I do have a strange obsession with a specific brand of Polish pretzels that my grandmother sends to me from Poland every single year—an entire case! It’s a crazy obsession, and you either love them or hate them, but I’ve been eating these pretzels since I was one year old!

When I have some downtime, I enjoy gardening, landscaping, hiking, kayaking, biking, watching football (huge Pittsburgh and Penn State fan), crocheting (I’ve made hats, scarves, baskets, and even sweaters), and traveling.
