Facebook ads (and social ads in general) can be effective in reaching a very specific audience with a minimal budget. For example, our new Clickable Coverage product is for insurance professionals. In addition to traditional outreach (conferences, networking, LinkedIn, etc.), we’re running a few targeted ads. One of them is on Facebook. It’s designed to be shown to people 18 and older, in the United States, with an interest in insurance and with a job title of insurance broker or insurance sales associate. Our daily budget is set to $10. The results are quite remarkable. In the last week alone, we’ve reached 4,931 of our target audience. Of those, 287 clicked through to our website to learn more. And, the best part? We’ve only paid $52.74 and have a bunch of demos scheduled. So, our ad is working. Now, we want to increase our daily budget to maximize its effectiveness. Here’s how to do it.
Changing your Facebook ad budget
1. Sign in to Facebook and click Ads Manager in the left column.
2. Click the name of the campaign you want to change.
3. Hover over the budget and click the pencil icon.
4. Enter your new budget and save it.
