If you don’t blog, who will?

Blogging is one of the best ways to increase your online presence and stay in regular contact with your audience. Wondering how businesses are using blogs to increase leads? We’ve compiled a few reasons to start (or continue) a blog for your company.

1. Establish authority

The old saying goes, “I read it on the Internet so it must be true.” We know that’s not always the case, but it’s no secret that people research on the web more than ever. If a potential customer finds an answer to their question on your blog, you’ll instantly establish credibility and be revered as a thought leader.

2. Drive engagement

Content is what drives online engagement (reads, comments, likes, shares, etc.). We recommend having a strategic content calendar (it can be in Excel, Google Sheets, etc.) that includes your blog articles, email blasts and social media posts for the weeks and months ahead. It’s important to plan ahead! You’ll be more creative if you do – and that leads to higher engagement and more success.

3.  Improve SEO

Google rewards you with higher search rankings if you write, share and participate in social media consistently. In fact, Forge3 is listed at the top of Google for many terms as a result of our writing over the years. As a result, we continue to get thousands of people visiting this website each month because of it. That’s pretty cool!
