Writing great content sometimes requires a bit of legwork. Sure, you know what you know, but you can make a stronger case for it if you back it up with some solid data. The web is great for that, but it can become overwhelming sorting through hundreds of pages just to find that one reputable site. Wouldn’t it be great if there was a better option? There is! It’s another great product brought to you by Google. Here’s where to find it.

Find smart content with Google Scholar

Google Scholar is a search engine that gives you access to a very expansive selection of scholarly articles and other publications. Theses, books, abstracts and court opinions from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other websites can all be found here. That’s a lot of smart content!

What we love about Google Scholar

  • It’s a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature
  • You can search across many disciplines and sources
  • You can use alerts to keep up with recent developments in any area of research
  • Content is ranked by relevance, making it easy to find what you are looking for
  • It’s free!

Quick tip

Stay on top of your discipline by setting up an email alert (or two). Google Scholar will send you a notification if any new content matching your criteria is posted. You can use the information to stay informed and you can share that knowledge with your audience on all of your social profiles.

Take Google Scholar for a spin and let us know what you think.
