The last I checked, we have one chance to make a first impression.

Well, there’s an app for that. It’s called Ink. We’ve been using it for years.

What the Ink app does

Ink makes it super simple to send postcards to people. Yes, real cards via U.S. Mail.

It’s designed primarily for non-business use (think birthdays, anniversaries and other special events), but we’ve found it to be equally great for Forge3.

For example, when a business chooses to work with us, one of the first things we do is send them an Ink card welcoming them to the Forge3 family.

Here’s what it looks like…

For a few bucks, Ink prints and mails the card to our recipient. It literally takes 60 seconds to send a card. How easy is that?

And the quality is quite nice, especially if you splurge for the “Premium & Envelope” option. The envelope is even embossed with “Hello” – which is a nice touch. Before we started using Ink, we sent a test card to our office. You may want to do the same. I think you’ll be impressed.

Before I forget

You can also use Ink to remind you about important dates.

For example, perhaps you want to send your VIP clients a card on their anniversaries. Or, maybe you have a close colleague or partner who you want to surprise. Ink makes that easy.

The little things

I’ve come to realize that the little things often make the biggest difference. Sending a simple card to someone who isn’t expecting one is a perfect example of this.

So thank you, Ink, for making a little app to help us make a big impact.
