I’ve never written a book. But, if I did, I’d probably call it “Little Things, Big Difference.”
I love business. Reading about it. Listening to podcasts. Talking with entrepreneurs. Running one.
I’ve come to learn that the most successful businesses do a bunch of little things really well.
Think about Starbucks, Apple, or Amazon.com. It’s not “one thing” that makes them amazing. It’s everything.
Forge3 is far from Starbucks. But, we do try to do a bunch of little things really well. One very small example of this is our hold music.
Yes, really.
For whatever reason, the last few weeks, a handful of people reached out telling me how much they liked it. Here’s one example:
Ok… just had to email again…because I called in and got put on hold and you guys have LITERALLY the best hold music I’ve ever heard. It made me laugh for about 2 minutes straight. You guys are the best.
At this point, you’re probably wondering what she’s talking about.
So, tap that beautiful blue button below to listen to it.
Since everyone at Forge3 answers the phone, callers rarely hear the hold music. But, when they do, we want them to smile.
By the way, there’s another version covered by Postmodern Jukebox. It’s pretty awesome. Watch the video below.
The original song is called “I’m On Hold” written and performed by Alex Cornell. Check out the lyrics.
Little thing. Big difference.
